Learners check out books in the Library portion of the Libratory ever other week -- so it is a two-week check-out time period for all books.
These books can be returned to the tub labeled "Libratory" in your child's classroom, or it can be placed in one of the wooden return boxes in the copy room or in the Libratory next to the Curiosity Shoppe counter.
All overdue books will result in emails sent to parents. The school district's catalogue computer system sends these late notices out automatically.
If books are not returned within a month of the due date, parents will be billed for the book.
Learners cannot check out another book until the overdue, damaged or lost book issue has been resolved.
Replacement books cost $25. Please do not go buy a book to replace it. It is easier for the school to purchase it and have it catalogued. You can make out your check to New Emerson School and put "Lost Library Book" in the memo section.
